The Gordon-Smith is the nearest thing I've got to a Les Paul, and has been responsible for quite a few solos on the record. It turns up on "Puppy Dog" and "Capetown Girl" where it does both solos and on "Golddigger", adding a Gretsch-like muted country-style picking part.

It gets used primarily for my Kinks tribute band, which is where the photo above comes from, but it often gets pulled out to do lead or rhythm duties on recording, due to it being able to do both hairy Les-Paul type stuff, crunchy kinks-style rhythm, and early Harrison-style rockabilly leads.

Before you ask, I was wearing the tie as a bet.
