Epiphone Sheraton II

A 1997 model in Tobacco sunburst, acquired from a guitar shop in Lindenthal opposite the Volkshochschule where I took my German course, and just down the road from Roadrunner Records German office. I originally was going to buy a friends Sheraton, but the deal fell through, which was a pity.
As I bought it, this guitar needed a little attention. The previous owner was the type who seems to be determined to wind every single bit of the string onto the machine head, resulting in huge gear-ratio-changing wads of metal. The intonation on the bottom strings was completely off as well, and so I had to spend about two hours tweaking that after fitting a new set of strings.
It arrived too late for use on the album, but it's already been used for at least one cut on the new album. It is, unfortunately, a bit cursed with the "Oasis" sound, meaning you sound like Noel Gallagher if you play ham-fisted pentatonics through an overdrive. Fortunately I've been able to take the curse off so far by double-tracking clean parts with it.
