Recording Gear
The following recording gear is vastly obsolete, and was
acquired at a number of sales etc. over the past five years.
My recording philosophy is to use anything that works and sounds
good, and stick with it so you at least learn to work it properly,
rather than constantly upgrade to the latest "flash kit" which never
really gets used to its full abilities.
- AMD K3-2 300 Mhz PC-Compatible
Running win98SE and Cool Edit Pro, equipped with two disk drives, an extra Ultra IDE card, and a very early soundblaster live. It's extremely slow in comparison with more modern machines, but it works and I don't really see the point of buying anything else until it dies on me. - Johnson J-station
- Alesis SR16 Drum machine
- AKG C1000s MkII Condenser Microphone
- Phonic MM1002 mixer
- Yamaha MT8X 8-track cassette recorder
Used to record some older tracks. - Yamaha SPX 90II Effects rack
- Zoom 9001
